Curatorial Projects > Degrees of Separation

SPACE gallery

Inherent to all connections are degrees of separation. They may be abrupt partitions or fleeting dissolves. Yet, no matter how close, there is always distinction: between self and other, present and past, or observed and experienced.

This exhibition is a meditation on distance. Collectively, these artists’ works span spiritual, mental, and physical distance. They search for links across unbridgeable divides --drawing attention to the moments where we are simultaneously connected yet remain distinct.

Artists: Tamara Cedré, Nicole Herbert, Michael Dax Iacovone, Nate Larson, Carlene Muñoz, Daniel Pillis, Derek Reese, Scott Turri, and Barbara Weissberger
